Over the years, there have been a lot of bad guys in the Super Mario games, but which one is the strongest?
Nintendo’s Super Mario is a well-known series. The first game in the series came out in 1981. Since then, many more games have come out, each with a lot of new characters. The simple idea behind the series, which is that you have to beat the bosses to finish the levels, led to the creation of many different bad guys.
Not all of them are easy to get rid of. Some can be done by a beginner, while others almost seem to need a professional. With that in mind, here is a list of the most powerful bad guys who have appeared over many decades. Players will have to do their best to beat them and win the game.
Tabuu – Super Smash Bros. Brawl
Even though Super Smash Bros. Brawl is usually thought of as a PvP game, there are big boss fights in the storyline. Tabuu, on the other hand, is in a league of his own and can beat players who got to him easily.
There are a lot of possible characters in the fighting game, but most of them don’t have an easy way to beat Tabuu. He blinks around, has sudden attack movements, rarely puts himself in melee damage (which rules out ground attacks), and has an ability that hits everything on the screen. Those who make it through the fight say it feels like Souls.
Elder Princess Shroob – Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time
Some of the scariest figures in games are those that have changed. The fact that Mario is a clicker in The Last of Us is sneaky. But that wouldn’t be the first time a fungus took over the bodies of a Mushroom Kingdom resident.
Players have to get used to attacking UFOs that are off-screen and avoiding their blasts at the same time. As if that wasn’t enough, players have to handle Mario and Luigi separately and get them both to avoid attacks. It takes the kind of coordination that experienced drummers usually have.
The Shadow Queen – Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door
Unlike many of the big fights in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, the Shadow Queen is not just a test of strength, but also of how long you can last. Up until now, most players probably didn’t put much effort into their defence because offence is usually better.
Survival is one of the most overused parts of the series, but it takes centre stage against the Shadow Queen. Players who haven’t worked on their defence have to either start over or make some changes at the last minute and hope for the best.
Antasma – Mario & Luigi: Dream Team
Antasma is a bad bat king who showed up for the first time in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team. Antasma made a ring of Antashmunschies around him and used them as bombs in the first fight with Mario. She normally eats two Antashmunschies before an attack, which makes the attack stronger. She can also go into hibernation to heal herself with the help of her minions.
Antasma can also attack Mario by turning into a group of bats. Her best move is to make a copy of herself, which doubles the work. Players wish that Antasma had been one of the awesome things that were cut from Super Mario games.
Cackletta – Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
Cackletta is a bad witch from the Beanbean Kingdom. She is the main bad guy in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga for the Game Boy Advance and its remake for the 3DS. Since the series has been going for 40 years, gamers should be glad that Cackletta has been left out.
She has powers based on psychokinesis and electrokinesis. In the first fight with Mario, Cackletta attacked him with a lightning bolt and then made a copy of herself to confuse him. In later games, she uses weapons like a fireball and others. She can also make deadly bats and sound like just about anyone.
King Boo – Luigi’s Mansion
King Boo is the leader of the Boos and Ghosts. He rules over the otherworldly worlds and is Luigi’s worst enemy. Somehow, video games have found a way to make insects cute, but ghosts are still scary.
King Boo has a lot of magical skills, like the power to make things appear out of thin air, teleport, and turn invisible. Also, when he is around other Boos, his power goes up. In one of the games, it’s also shown that he can get bigger. In later games, he gets stronger abilities, like being able to open paranormal doors and make illusions.
Count Bleck – Super Paper Mario
Count Bleck, who is also called Lord Blumiere, is a bad count who used to be a part of the Tribe of Darkness. He is the main bad guy in the Super Paper Mario game. Mario is a video game figure who has been around for at least 40 years. Count Bleck, on the other hand, seems to be a thing of the past.
Count Bleck is a dangerous enemy who has many tricks up his sleeve, like the ability to move, speed up, and even slow down time. He can also float in the air with no help from gravity. He will usually use his sceptre to summon the balls of dark magic and throw them at his opponent when he is in fight.
Bowser Jr. – Mario Strikes Charged
Bowser Jr. is obviously Bowser’s son, and in many Mario games, he is the bad guy. He is one of the characters whose look has changed a bit as Nintendo has switched platforms, but he is still there in some way.
One way he looks like his father is that he is bold and active. He can do as many tricks as Mario and jump in the same ways. He is physically strong and can beat anyone to the ground until they can’t move. He can breathe fireballs and streams of fire, which are his most powerful weapons. In Mario Strikes Charged, his enemies can get smaller.
Fawful – Superstar Saga
Fawful, who is also called the lord Fawful is a Beaneish character who is known for speaking broken English and making many food-related puns. He is very smart, but he gets very angry very quickly. As the series moved to 3D, players worried that Fawful could become an even bigger problem.
Fawful uses his Vacuum Helmet and rocket jets a lot in battles and to get around. He also uses a laser gun. In Superstar Saga, for example, he uses his laser gun to shoot green balls and laser beams at Mario. In later games, he can move very quickly and use dark magic.
Bowser – Super Mario 64
Bowser is one of the most well-known Mario figures. He is also known as King Koopa or King Bowser. There aren’t many easy fights against him, but in Super Mario 64, he looks especially bad and needs Mario’s full attention and control.
He looks like a monster with dragon-like features. He has a full-throated roar, the ability to breathe fire, a mean personality, and a scaly voice. He has a lot of strong skills, like the ability to breathe fire and shoot fireballs, which he can do even under water. In all of the games, Bowser has a lot of raw strength and power, but this is one of his most vicious efforts.
Dimentio – Super Paper Mario
The main bad guy in Super Paper Mario is Dimentio, who can move, become invisible, and copy himself. The game’s last boss is his other form, which is called “Super Dimentio.”
Dimentio is a smart and skilled actor, trickster, and magician. He can cross between worlds, make clones of himself, and shoot shuriken-like items at his enemies, among other things. He can make a small magical field around his target that stops them from moving.
Culex – Super Mario RPG: Legend Of The Seven Stars
Some bosses in video games can be defeated with just one hit, while others need a lot of skill and a lot of knowledge. In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, fighting Culex is a minor and optional battle, but it is still harder than fighting the game’s final boss.
Players will have to skip his secret area at first, then get equipment and level up. Even then, they’ll have to find and wear items that stop them from dying right away. Culex will kill party members even if they have the best gear, and there’s nothing the player can do to stop it. They’ll need to stock up on things and characters that can bring the dead back to life.
Bowser X – Mario & Luigi: Bowser’s Inside Story
To beat Bowser X, players will probably have to play, train, and practise hard for a week. Putting in the time is one thing, but being able to coordinate your hands and eyes is another. No matter how well players have planned for the fight, they will need to be on their game to beat Bowser X.
Fighting Bowser is a boss battle that has changed over the course of the Mario series. Snake Game may be the hardest and most unique way to fight the famous King of the Koopas. Even if you train a lot and have a lot of time, beating Bowser X is never easy.
